ALEX + JOHN
A Hallgarth Manor Wedding – Durham | Coronavirus wedding days before the UK Lockdown.
How did you both meet?
Attending the same college, we met via a terrible, cheesy dance-off in a nightclub! A few days later we had some heavy snow, went for a walk, and rescued an abandoned dog.
Why did you choose your venue over all the others?
Hallgarth Manor ticked all the boxes for us; location, decor, and a great co-ordinator in Cassie. Big shoutout to the beautiful parquet wood flooring!
Why did you select Ray as your wedding photographer?
After a lot of research, we had shortlisted Ray due to a really strong, creative portfolio. Within a few minutes of meeting Ray, it was clear we wanted him to shoot our big day. Great sense of humour, understood us as a couple, and a great vision for shots throughout the day.
What was the highlight of your day?
As our wedding had been heavily altered due to the Coronavirus pandemic, our highlight of the day was the togetherness and support shown to us by friends and family to make our day special.
Advice for other brides and grooms?
- Leave a little time to take everything in.
- Whilst there are a number of “must do” parts of a wedding, relax and laugh with friends and family.
- Enjoy a moment alone towards the end of the night to reflect on the day.
We really hope you have enjoyed viewing this beautiful Hallgarth Manor wedding featuring Alex + John
